Admission Requirements for the BSc in Gender and Development

Applicants must satisfy UWI’s  admission requirements in either (a) and (b) or (c) below:
Normal Matriculation
a) CAPE or GCE A -Level passes in a minimum of two (2) subjects.
CAPE subjects must consist of both Unit 1 and Unit 2; or

b) An Associate degree, Diploma and/or Certificate from another approved tertiary institution having attained a B+ average or a minimum GPA of 2.5; or (d) High School Grade 12 transcript with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum SATI score of 1700 plus a minimum of two (2) SAT II subjects at a score of 500 or above or successful completion of Advanced Placement Courses or the International Baccalaureate programme.
Lower Matriculation
c)  A minimum of five (5) subjects at CXC/CSEC or GCE O‘Level passes Compulsory- English Language. Grade requirements for CXC/CSEC are General Proficiency, Grades I or II pre-1998 and Grades I, II, or III from June 1998;
