TMA is a mission-critical tool use by UWI Mona to effectively manage its facilities and maintenance operations. Utilizing TMA, U.W.I. is able to account for, maintain, and extend the useful life of its physical assets throughout their entire life cycle - from purchase through disposal. TMA provides an entire array of advanced functionality that gives the highest level of customer satisfaction possible by managing the work flow process from the planning stage to completion of the job. Most importantly, these efficiencies can be benchmarked and measured in both cost and time.
TMA uses multiple integrated software modules that include, but are not limited to: work orders, preventive maintenance, inventory control, project management, contract management, advanced asset management, and multiple repair/cost centers. In addition, the Enterprise solution includes advanced features and functionality such as estimates, a stock replenishment wizard, request log, a parts allocation wizard, facility and building components, work order redirect, and automatic split billing. These modules have been fine-tuned to meet the campus’s needs. The flexibility and robustness of TMA Enterprise makes it an invaluable asset to U.W.I. Mona.
In addition, TMA Enterprise utilizes industry standard tools and open architecture that provides U.W.I. Mona with the ability to integrate its facility information throughout the entire organization. TMA has the only Facility Asset Management Software ( CMMS ) with the ability to operate under multiple operating systems that share data transparently on mixed platforms—Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Sun Solaris, Linux, MAC OS Classic, and Mac OS X. For U.W.I. Mona, TMA utilizes robust the client/server database, Oracle. This enterprise-wide database implementation has provided U.W.I. Mona with the added benefits:
